Washington, D.C. – September 30th, 2024 – Armaments Research Company (ARC) hosted leadership from the 3rd Assault Brigade, Ukrainian Armed Forces to perform new equipment training with ARC’s artificial intelligence-enabled weapon sensors. ARC’s core technology is the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP); a combination of hardware sensors and software that transform tactical weapons into sources of data.
For training, soldiers can observe in real-time the location, muzzle orientation, and discharge of tactical weapons. This delivers “game footage” to cadre so they can coach platoons and companies through their performance in conducting live fire certifications and scenario-based exercises.
ARC has worked with the Department of Defense for the past 5 years to develop the capability for Soldiers, Marines, and Airmen. The product vision for the AIP as a training enabler prioritizes equipping all soldiers within an infantry battalion to collect data on large scale maneuver training exercises and live fire certifications.
